Olamide – Burukutu
Nigerian rapper and YBNL boss Olamide has released a new single titled “Burukutu,” arriving as the lead release from his forthcoming album, Time & Space. The song was released on October 20, 2026, through YBNL Nation.
“Burukutu” comes with an official music video directed by TG Omori, adding a visual component to Olamide’s latest release. The song leans into his familiar street-oriented sound, combining Yoruba and English expressions with energetic rhythms and a celebratory atmosphere.
The title references burukutu, a traditional locally brewed alcoholic drink found in parts of Nigeria. Olamide uses the idea as part of a wider celebration of street culture, leisure and the Nigerian party spirit.
Olamide Prepares ‘Time & Space’
“Burukutu” is expected to appear on Olamide’s upcoming studio album, Time & Space, which is scheduled for release on November 16, 2026.
The release also comes as Olamide prepares for his headline concert at London’s O2 Arena on March 25, 2027, giving the rapper a fresh project to take into another major chapter of his international career.
