Victony Announces ‘SLICK’ Remix Featuring Summer Walker and Don Toliver

Victony is giving his hit single “SLICK” a fresh international push, bringing together American R&B star Summer Walker and rapper Don Toliver for the official remix.

The Nigerian singer announced the collaboration ahead of its release, confirming that “SLICK (Remix)” would arrive at midnight on Friday, October 16, 2026. The release is now available, with Apple Music listing the track as a single by Victony and Summer Walker featuring Don Toliver.

The collaboration connects Victony with two major American voices from contemporary R&B and hip-hop. Don Toliver is also a familiar collaborator, having previously appeared alongside Rema on the remix of Victony’s “Soweto.”

Summer Walker brings a different connection to the song. Earlier in 2026, the American singer shared her own rendition of “SLICK” on Instagram, which sparked calls from listeners for an official collaboration. That moment has now developed into the official remix.

‘SLICK’ Gets a New International Chapter

Originally released in July, “SLICK” became one of Victony’s biggest solo records of 2026. The song spent three consecutive weeks at No. 1 on Nigeria’s Official Top 100 and reached No. 2 on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart.

The track was later included on Victony’s sophomore album, STARLIFE, where it remained one of the project’s most prominent songs. Apple Music now lists the remix with Summer Walker and Don Toliver as a 2026 single.

For Victony, the remix extends a record that had already established strong momentum in Nigeria and internationally, while placing it in a broader Afrobeats, R&B and hip-hop conversation.

The new version also reunites Victony and Don Toliver after their earlier “Soweto” collaboration, while adding Summer Walker to the record’s cross-genre appeal.
