Rema’s Streaming Power Continues
Rema’s streaming numbers have been driven by the continued global popularity of songs from his catalogue, particularly “Calm Down”, his 2022 hit featuring Selena Gomez.
The song became the first track led by an African artist to enter Spotify’s Billions Club after surpassing one billion streams in September 2023.
His debut album, Rave & Roses (Ultra), has also become the most-streamed African album on Spotify, crossing 3.5 billion streams in September 2026.
A Major 2026 Milestone
Rema’s latest annual streaming figure shows the continued strength of his catalogue years after his international breakthrough.
With more than 1.2 billion Spotify streams already recorded in 2026, the singer has maintained a substantial presence on the global streaming platform while continuing to build on the success of Rave & Roses and his subsequent releases.
